BP load for your .54 for Range/ Hunting

In my 54 GPR, I can get good squirrel shooting groups at 30yds and for deer out to 100yds, 75gr does very well.

i use 90 or 100 grains of Black MZ powder in my .54 rifle along with a .530 ball and drill cloth for patching. Lube is LeathRSeal.

The same load is used for target practice and hunting.

70 grains 3f dropped every deer I ever shot with it and exit wounds on all, org .526 ball and .15 with some sort of lard or mink oil.
