For those of you living north of the Mason/Dixie Line...you don't need me to tell you know its COLD outside. I haven't been shooting much lately, therefore, that dreaded disease "BP Syndromitis" is setting in. If you have spent any time shooting a black powder gun, I'm positive you have experienced BP Syndromitis too. This video details the warning signs and cure.

Thanks Doc!
Now I know why
I been so blue
I wanted to cry
And that is true
But all I need
To make life fun
Is round lead balls
And my black powder gun!

When I was a teen I set up a "range" in the garage. Parents were out of town, or somewhere. Incredibly dumb, dumb thing to do.

I've resorted to shooting a bb gun in the back yard in bad weather just to kid myself it's for practice sake for when I can get out with a real gun but like you BPM I find myself looking out the window with a thousand yard stare. Especially if I see distant pheasants.
Wont be long now....the days are all ready drawing out....

Cold? What cold?

Some more problems with winter. One is my shooting range. It has restrictions with the China virus. Masks and rubber gloves are required. Two is surgery on my right shoulder. The incisions have mended and I am under going physical therapy to regain strength in my right arm. Can't even lift a rifle, let alone load and shoot it. But spring will be here soon, I hope.
