No we have very low humidity, this day was like 12-18% we're high and dry. Didn't take a elev. reading I would guess right at about 7000 Elev. and we had no wind.
It was a great shoot, with fantastic people and some really neat targets.
Life-size plywood animal cutouts sure are a fun way to get ready for fall hunting. The Shiras moose, mule deer, and elk targets had real antlers.
And we had some really fun score cards that included an Indian head nickel. Mtman725 presented me with a really nice carved eagle powder measure for hosting the shoot. My Kibler likes the charge that it throws,...helped add a few punches in my card!... Even got lucky and hit the hidden Ace high-card.
The little canyon we were shooting in was a perfect setting for such a target-rich environment.
Everyone finished up with some off-hand recreational shooting at long range mountain goats. The goats were most certainly riddled with holes but not a single ball found the mark of the steel plate at the longer range.
The club got together for a few more Woodswalks this season. Sure had fun with everybody. This year we even added a Plains game venue with Antelope and Buffalo.
To add to the challenge we made some little cardboard brown-head cowbirds to sit on the back of the Buffalo. These are very tiny targets but if you managed to hit one it was a pretty big display!
