I took a little time off from the build for other, seemingly more pressing, things in life.

Today I finished up the butt plate, final sanding, whiskering, and then started into the finishing.

I decided to put another application of brown on the barrel.

I use this. Blends right in and dries in about 10 minutes. It's also great when you get a stock with a crack in it. fills the crack and bonds the edges so the crack doesn't spread. Semper Fi.
