Just a peek .... The original N.W. gun sideplate ... Lot of work to do , on it and the gun ....

Fought the bandsaw too much ... but was able to saw off the slab below the barrel so I can get to the ramrod groove area ... marked center line ...

Drilling ramrod hole through forearm .... Turned out good too !! Actually went where I wanted it to ! Will wonders never cease ! SHEEW !!

Make barrels lugs , UGH !! , measure where yout RR pipes and lugs go , mark barrel and stock , solder lugs onto barrel ...then inlet lugged barrel back into stock ....mark stock accurately where lugs are ...

Mark your spot to drill very accurately ...then clamp that barrel down good ..then ...drill that sucker , go slow ....

Rob just exactly what I do. I only drill till I touch the lug. Then I go to the other side an repeat with each lug. Then I remove barrel and finish drilling through the lugs. Just don't have your skill..

Skill ?! Sh!+ !! Wish I could drill from both sides and the holes line up straight ! I could never accomplish that !! SHEEW !!! Good measurements !!!

You ain’t the only one on that. I gotta go from one side only also.
