Finally got the lock ! Had to work on it a little today but couldn't get much done ... Got it started , inlet the bolster and got the plate down , just started the guts ....middle lock bolt drilled and tapped ....

Got the lock guts inlet and the lock able to function , trigger slit started enough to trip the sear with a screw driver and front lock bolt hole drilled , and tapped.... Gonna forge a trigger then refine the trigger slot , hopefully get it done and pinned then go work on another gun for a bit ...

Buttplate made ,buttplate thrown in fire to anneal , nails made, B.P. drilled , tang bent .... Cut the buttstock to proper length of pull and attach B.P.

Trigger guard made .... Holes drilled ...tomorrow I'll be drilling the tang/ trigger guard screw hole and attaching said screw , then the gun can be shot ....then ramrod pipes made and inlet , then forward part of wood shaped to " roughed in " stage .... then side plate finished and inlet , then mortices refined, then buttstock refined, then thumb plate finished and inlet , then stock taken to final shape and refined , then final sand ....then engraving ....lordy !! Seemed closer to done before I starting writing it all out GEESH !!! LOL !!! :D ....probably 10-12 working days to finish then browning the barrel
