Smoothbore trade guns is all I make .... It really depend on what's going on around the homestead ...but I usually figure a month to a month and a half usually but sometimes they'll stretch out to two months .... I'm slow.Hey.

I appreciate the praise . I love my trade guns but I'm no Hershel or Frank House . I like em skinny and a bit dirty ....just like the women around here ! LOL ... Love my patinaed and aged guns . ...and as authentic as possible . My guns are as light as the originals and they have to have damn fast ignition ....I took and kept a log of building a NWG kit from Track of The Wolf.
Stock was pre cut, but lock mortise not done, that was one hundred hours till I started wood stain and barrel finish.
I bet it took me about three to four months to get just that much done
Two months sounds like a rush job to me ( time rush I know your quality will be better even then then mine)
