It looks amazing. So cool to watch it from start to finish, you make it look quick and easy. I assume this gun is commissioned, and has a home waiting for it, lucky dog. Can’t wait to see it shoot.
Thank you bud . My guns get better looking the further you get from them :) Yeah , this one is going to a fellow in Missouri unless he doesnt like it when I send him the " finished " pictures . Kinda hoping he doesn't ....then I have a Fusil de Chasse !! :D Should be shooting it soon ....lll post pics and VDO

@Rob M.
Just want to say “Thank you” for the time and effort you put into this thread. Makes the site a lot better.

Best regards,
Well thanks bud , your welcome . Thats very kind of ya . I'm glad you all have been enjoying some of my builds . I love talking trade guns but no one local even knows what one is let alone wants to hear about a build or their history , etc. so this has been really great for me too , an outlet for my work and passion . I had no idea if anyone would like these building threads or not ...glad a few of you do :)

@wganz was spot on. Your building threads are enjoyable and quite the learning experience. Definite benefit for the forum.

Thanks bud . As I told you before it fills a void for me and ...Im no expert builder but perhaps someone sees a way I do something and it helps them out . A scratch build is a long drawn out task but I'd love to see more folks build their own guns , save some big bucks , have a good learning experience and building stories. I have been VERY surprised anyone likes my posts , er um " threads " so its been pretty cool for me . Good meeting you guys too

I have been wanting a smoothbore flintlock for a couple of years. Your threads about building inspire and entertain! You have a certain aesthetic and approach what some term, “workmanlike” approach to building that is a little unique and fun. Keep it up please!

Thanks ...Sure is fun and gratifying hearing her roar finally ! . That first shot was perfect , I knew I had a good un ...fun shootin it , hated to tear it all apart . Gotta let it sit and the all the parts to brown . I'll work on the Carolina gun while the browning process is going on ...
That is outstanding.

Can’t wait to see a picture of it all done even if the picture doesn’t do it justice.
