Ok ...first coat of shellac on the stock ...one spot near the toe has me worried , great .... So , while its drying ...time to get this lock in order . Clean up lockplate , start stoning the shaft on the new tumbler , removing flashing left on there ...fit the frizzen to the plate .....anything else that comes up then assemble and test , see if anything else ....

Rob is that lock the L& R trade gun lock #2200.Does it have a screw you need to back off 1/4 turn like the queen Ann .
Yeah , it is that lock. Yeah , the bridle screws you have to do that or the tumbler will not turn , which is very poor craftsmanship but , what are ya gonna do. Tumbler needs yo be turned down thinner or the bridle slightly higher and shouldered sear screw , then the screws can be tightened and the tumbler will still turn......is what it is

Not done but a sneak peek for ya all following the build .. ... Had to do some steps where the stock has to set for awhile so I cut the grass before the next wave of monsoon season hits again , of course had several interruptions and then the starter on the mower striped off its ring gear and would not start ...ran got part , fix it then got grass mowed in the nick of time ....SHEEW ! Then ! ....had some time to work on the stock ... I'm digging it

It looks amazing. So cool to watch it from start to finish, you make it look quick and easy. I assume this gun is commissioned, and has a home waiting for it, lucky dog. Can’t wait to see it shoot.
