Well what ever ya use good luck and good shootin.

Pitchy,
I did not see any turkeys today. But I sure did burn a lot of cotton rope. I decided that a long piece of rope could get unwieldy walking thru the brush, so I cut off a 18" piece. It burned well until the breeze banged the coal against the stem of the seedling I had it hanging on. Then later I laid it on a damp log and then I couldn't keep it lit. So I cut another. It burned well until about only 6" was left then it wouldn't stay lit. This pattern continued except for the last one. That one burned all the way down. I believe that the dampness got into the rope and made it not sustain fire. I'm not sure why the last one kept burning but I was happy about it.
