shooter,
Outside of making them yourself, try the usual
places.....Dixie,TOW,Midsouth,RMC Sports among
many. Prices don't vary to any great extent.S&H
mite vary more than the price of the product.IMHO

I can't remember the man's name but Roundball has mentioned getting cast round balls in lots of 1000 from somebody at a good price. If you know you'll use that many it's a good deal.

i saw some roundballs at gander mountain for $4 for a hundred. they were manufactured by a company called "bullet weights". that is a good price, but i do not know how good they are. hornadys are twice that much.
anyone know anything about this company?

The man's name is Eddie May, and he's from Georgia.

Try this:

Eddie May Round Balls
159 Ridley Rd.
Chatsworth, GA. 30705
706-581-8225

Since he is also on the East coast, shipping costs should be reasonable, too. Tell him Round Ball sent you.

I have been buying the balls by bullet weight at Gander Miuntain at 4.99 for over a year now and as far as I can tell they are as good as any of the others that you pay 8.00 to 10.00 dolars for.

They mic consistent, accuracy is excellent, as are the prices...he can use a simple PO Flat Rate box for $8.40 regardless of weight so buy a lot and spread the shipping across many hundreds of balls

I just ordered some from Eddie May; 1000 0.490 round balls were $65, with s/h it was $73.95.

He mentioned on the phone that he was going to Friendship.

Me too, and they don`t have a spue on them. :)

You should be pleased with them...I ordered 1000 .395s and a couple hundred .600s...all mic'd +/- .001, looked great, shot great, etc.

If you dont want spew on yer home growns, put them in your brass media tumbler

Interesting, how does it take the spue off without reducing the ball diameter?

BTW the Eddie May 0.490's arrived yesterday. Total weight 26 pounds. That should keep me shooting for a LONG time.

Oh, at 80 grains powder for shot, I'll need about 11.5 pounds of powder, too.
