I see you found the 9mm blanks at TOTW Bravo!..........Thats what I did when I bought my recent Blue Ridge.......With my older Blue Ridge I reamed out the original thimbles and used a 3/8ths............Seemed to do OK with the 3/8ths rod after reaming although it wasnt fun to ream with a drill bit................Bob
 
hello to all,

if you need to use a drill bit to ream a hole, grind a slightly negative rake on the cutting edges to keep it from grabbing in soft material.
