Cablea Hawken Style 50 flint kit hints

Is there a good post or website for hints on finishing a Cabela's hawken Flint kit? I did a Trapper pistol kit and went pretty well. Lots of wood to move around the lock. Thinking there must be a best way?

When you say "finishing" are you asking about assembling and building it or are you asking about the various finishes that can be applied?
