glad to hear you liked your stuff rc i got my haversack and loved it what little time i had it. i converted it into a knapsack like i saw in a book,then rinsed it in some rit dye hung it out to dry on my porch rail overnight.well i dont know wo or what but somethin made off with it in the night. lots of nursery stock around the house and i seen the nieghbors dog play with burlap so i dunno if he thought the jute outter was burlap and took it as a toy or what .either way what time i owned it i loved it.

the dog ate my haversack???????????? well ya got me there ain't heard that ..since....well i used to use all the time in school,till they found out i didn't got a dog...that's sad.. (but,there it does bring a chuckle..sorry about that, i know ted did a great job on my stuff,and sorry yers was turned into a chew toy. gotta admit, least the dog's got taste! what color rits dye, bone white? brown gravy.red meat, sorry jason.. :redface: but its one of those things ya don't hear everyday..but i'm sure ted can make ya a new one...maybe with a leash? :rotf: RC

Jason I am really sorry to hear about the haversack. If you are interested I can make you a knapsack and even change the color for you. The price would be the same. I would bet that the dog was going after the leather and the antler buttons. I have a dog who eats leather scraps if he can get them and will chew an antler to dust in a matter of minutes. If its any consulation the dog probable puked its guts up. The dyed leather tends to make them do that. Let me know if I can help you out. We can work something out about a design and color.
