Just add it has numbers and letter stamped on the barrel suggesting it’s from Spain

One of the "could be's " , the percussion pistol could be a Spanish kit gun from the 1970's. These could be bought in most small dept. stores , K-marts, etc. . Some in my family as well purchased them , and due to poor skills w/ rubber hammer assembly methods , most ended up in my fathers shop to be finished. Since most m/ler's are fun to shoot , this type pistol gave many an unsuspected soul a start in black powder fun. ............oldwood

I concur with Oldwood-it's an early Spanish kit build. I don't remember the brand, but I recall that shield shaped inlay.

Ok well thank you for describing it, my late father gave it to me years ago so to me it will always be a treasure again thank for your knowledge I’m overwhelmed 👍🏼

Agree with the above comments. Those Spanish made kits were sold even back in the late 1960's I think. I remember them in Dixie's catalog. They probably did get a number of young shooters started in black powder.
