Is not a score 20? Or do I disremember (very likely at 75, which I thought was three score and 15) Good smoke, Ron in FL
Well, math has always been my one and only week point. I thought sure he was telling me stories about his service in the civil war..... :hmm:

I personally found that during a war very few folks remain civil--in fact some get downright nasty and will even shoot at you! 'Course I'm only three score and two. :v

Don't know what the problem is with running and Gunning thats the way I've done since '71 killed alot of Birds.Don't use no Hunters Orange.Right now I'm hunting 8,000 acres of Goverment Land next to me.

And I've always used #6 Shot,no Shot Cups and did just fine.

Excuse my ignorance, but not being a turkey hunter, could you please explain what "running and gunning" is?

Trying to call a Turkey having it ignore you.Get in front of it try a different Call to try to change its mind.

Or some will use the same call just keep up with the Bird hoping he will decide to come back for you.

Thanks!

I only just turned 1 score.

So, when you guys were in the army, did they really still have sandals and spears? :haha: :blah: :haha:

Those bronze helmets do look cool, but that horsehair thing on top must have been a pain in high wind.

BTW, my first turkey was my last. my foot fell asleep, I caught a cold, and tom sure din't taste like a butterball. :barf:

I'll stick to deer hunting.

Pichou--when I was in the army all we had was clubs and stones. No helmets, but we were issued a new loincloth twice a year whether we needed it or not. Got a bit chilly in winter... :haha:
