Hows everyone coming with all this info? anyone started yet? Confused?
I'm thinking of starting another one this weekend.
will try and do some pics as I go showing a little more indepth on the card threading and working from the pattern.

any ????S, you know where to find me!

Bought a lot of yarn today a slow weekend at work should hopefully allow me to get all my cards made also found some real neat videos on youtube. just go there and type card weaving many clips come up. may have a strap done next week thanks alot brett for all the great info and help.

I just finished my 2nd strap the other day. This one turned out just the way I wanted it to. Nice and wide. I bet I could tow a truck with it!
I'll post pics as soon as I get the bag it's for done.

Your info really helped me figure this stuff out, Brett. Thanks again! :hatsoff:
The board and C-clamps is a big help!

for those of you playing with the malarky pattern down load, you can save your patterns and email them to one another! just a thought.

Brett!
Sorry about dragging my feet on card weaving, but have a big back-log of horns to do, that probably will keep me busy until July! Really turning into a good year, but bad time to learn a new craft!

Rick

I would be interested in the emailed links and patterns.......my wife is trying to get involved and I asked her if she would like to try some weaving for me

Sorry, general reply to the OG post

I got this from Brett Sr as some places to go for card weaving. I initially had some trouble getting them to come up until I found that a format "end-of-line" was putting in a space for the extra long addresses. Got that corrected, so they should work.

I don't know how this is working, but there are a couple of e-mails from Brett Sr. today, and then a string of Feb posts regarding card weaving, with a string of pictures showing his setup (just go back to page 2 for them).  Really helps. I don't care how it was done, but it worked to take us back to previous posts!

Thank you sir, Carla just looked at this thread over my shoulder and is interested.

I don't know how you did it, but I got your website posts (although there was a blank in the middle that took a few minutes to correct) and your pictures of setup from back in Feb. Thanks!! :v :v
