The Carolina Gun is on its way to Wyoming from Ohio to Virginia ....then to Wyoming , LOL ! Dave the owner has crossed the country to be at Martins Station in Virginia and a friend of his from Cleveland stopped by my neck of the country to pick up his new trade gun for him and deliver it to him at the show . Pretty cool ! Fun doing " gun deals " at McDonalds parking lot ! LOL ! So ...hopefully ,most important , Dave likes his new trade gun and enjoys it at the show and not sending it via UPS sure makes me sleep easier , they can be brutal on.packages ! Hope he likes it !

Hey Rob, why is the trigger guard not inlet? Was that customary on the trade guns, or customer preference, or a choice you made for the build? Not being a smart-A here, just trying to learn.
-Red, not joking around for once…

Oh your fine bud ......yeah , just a step that the English skipped for cost cutting . The N.W. trade gun was the same way with most builders . Funny , with the Carolina Gun it isn't uncomfortable as the brass is thin but on the N.W gun , I like to inlet them down half way , the stock I use to forge N.W guns is 1/8" thick ....just feels better to my short stubby fingers trying to wrap around that wrist

I was thinking it had to be something like that. Thanks for the reply!
