I put these in the wrong pkace and they got deleted. I was just posting pic of the xast iron oddities I've collected in the last year and a half. The little frying pan ashtray fits in my hand. The bread leaf pan should be good for melting. Is the laddle small enough for pouring into molds?

The laddle will work as long as your melted lead is deep enough to scoop some out. If you’re just using double cavity molds a smaller laddle would be easier to work with. But the larger size would help with 4-6 cavity molds.

I do want to get tge smaller laddle with the spout sticking out.Double molds are probably all I will use. Getting ready to start getting all the equipment.

I've had the big & little skillets for decades, and the food ( especially meat) cooked in them tastes much better than when modern cookware is used.

They are the original non-stick cooking utensils.

In days of old folks didn’t carry around pots to melt in.
If you’re using traditional moulds you find half a dozen ball is all you can do before the mould is too hot to hold. A ladle like that is perfect
About four or five ball of lead at a time, then melt another batch.
Running ball can be fun. In a few hour, even at one five ball batch at a time you’ll cast a bunch of ball.
Use the ladle and enjoy the day off work
