CCCI #11 caps, where are they

The shortage that hit the rest of the country never really hit south western Montana. I have had no problem finding caps for years.

I've had a heck of a time locating CCI #11 caps. Using my tablet I found five boxes of 1000 at Graf and Sons last night. For some reason I can't complete online orders using my table. I decided to order today, and all the CCI caps were gone. I've tried looking at other dealers' sites, but don't find any CCI. Where have all the caps gone. Should I put all the percussion guns in cosmoline for long term storage and just shoot Flinters?

I said to heck with it and broke down and bought RWS instead. They're ten cents each BEFORE haz mat and shipping, but they do seem to be plentiful. It seems like it just keeps getting more and more 'spensive every day to continue to indulge in this sport we all love, but what the hay? It's still a whole lot cheaper than chasin' women for a hobby. :haha:

I think there's just too many peeps is what the problem is, but that ain't never gonna subside, so I guess we just make the best of it all the best we can :idunno:

I don't know, you might be able to get away with it, but when I posted something very similar to you awhile back on here I got jumped all over with all four feet by a couple of the regular guys on here, was accused of being a conspiracy theorist in short, and pretty much just a sheet stirring liar in other words.

I tried to by some black MZ from em shipped to local store and they still was charging haz mat. Told em where they could put it (like they dont order hazmat daily or at least weekly?)

A local shop has had the CCI #11 for $4.95 per 100. I bought 5 containers (500 caps) and there were plenty more left on the shelf.
They had quite a number of the caps every time I stopped by for over a year, but I haven't been there for about a month, so I don't know how many they had left.

Homeland security has to shoot and reshoot for qualification probably every quarter but at least twice a year just like all law enforcement. It may seem like allot of ammo but it really isn't when you multiply it by the number of agents they have.

This thread started to make me nervous about not getting more any caps. I have enough for this year, but thought maybe I should get more. With trap, skeet and hunting going on. So off to town I go, to Rocky Mtn. Sports in Sheridan, Wy.. They have about 3000 CCI's #11 (5.49) and 1000 Rem's #11 (8.49) on the shelf. So since I didn't need any right now I left them, for those that might not have enough.
