I quit taking life seriously in the spring of 1973.
And putting all seriousness aside now  , I went back in Bass Pro Shop yesterday and they actually had more caps than they had two days ago, three brands, in fact.
Hopefully that is good news for the OP and all others looking for the left overs from the Homeland Security, IRS and FEMA rampage......I couldn't resist!!!

A local shop has had the CCI #11 for $4.95 per 100. I bought 5 containers (500 caps) and there were plenty more left on the shelf.
They had quite a number of the caps every time I stopped by for over a year, but I haven't been there for about a month, so I don't know how many they had left.

Hi Ron....Actually, since I gave up and bought the RWS because they were all I was able to find when I NEEDED caps(most expensive by far of all brands)I have done another search and there are plenty of others to be had everywhere just about, for the time being anyway. Go figure, Huh?

Hazmat and shipping really adds tremendously to the cost. It's crazy to ponder that on something as tiny as a percussion cap one can have as much as 12 - 15 cents apiece invested in them though, after all is said and done :shocked2:
