Bought my first CnB pistol in the 1980's, currently shoot the Hell out of an original NMA. I've used loose ball and powder, played with Pyrodex and other synthetics as well. Literally have fired thousands of rounds in many different pistols and under a variety of

conditions... I've never had a chainfire. Currently I shoot paper cartridges with 3f under Johnston and Dow bullets. My old Remmie's nipples are so-o rusty, can't hardly keep a cap on two of them. No chainfires. I always read these threads with great curiosity, looking to be educated, trying to stay aware of difficulties other shooters are finding and overcoming.
