One of my rifles has a thin brass blade front sight and a simple notched rear. Thinking about changing to a set of these. My old eyes aren't what they used to be.

When it comes to hunting...the only real concern is to not wound that animal and lose it. Use what ever helps you see your target and shoot clean...enjoy.
 
You could also try RMC-Oxyoke. They have sights like that shown by TOW, and they have what they call the "V-Peep". I put a set on a Renegade barrel and like them alot.
