Yep, it's that time of the year again!

Help me out, guys.

I'm going to drop a few hints on the wife. It makes it a lot easier on her because she dosn't have a clue on how to buy toys for me. We've got a deal going where we exchange hints. it helps me, too because it prevents me from buying the wrong perfume or whatever.

anyway...

Is this the best peep sight for my renegade, or can I do better? Fox ridge sight for renegade

And this IS the barrel I want for my renegade, right? I'm looking at 1 in 70 36" long.
Green mountain barrel

Let me know if I'm hinting for the right stuff!

Frank,
In my case, my wife knows little or nothing
about my pursuits of B/P items. With all the hints
possiable I would end up with a lump of coal in
my stocking. So I just let her get the usual stuff
like clothes, computer stuff(that she knows alot
more about than myself).
In Mrs. snakes case there are no hints! She
tells Santa what she wants and he better deliver.
:rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
The stuff I want or need I get the rest of
the year in as small doses as possiable. It works
for me.
snake-eyes :hmm:

I used to leave hints all the time. Notes on scratch pads, tabs in magazines, mark items in magazines, one time wrote down Need 3 Getz 31" Jaeger barrels & put it on the desk right in front of this monitor........
One in .54 cal, one in .58 cal, one in .62 cal. Left the note right here in front of the computer for 8 months & that didn't work. Finally I ordered 2 of the barrels from Getz & still never received them & that was 2 years ago !! ha ha ha ! Guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Best thing I can tell ya is if you Really want the stuff, buy it & hand it to your wife & tell her "Wrap this up for me, it is my X-mas present from you".

you can get this same sight at Midsouth shooters supply for far less.
TTC

I have these on two of my rifles and I like them very well, not as big and bulky as some of the others.

You could just do like my wife & I do.

Last year I got her a Browning Citori & she got me a quilting machine :hmm:

Getting her to buy my "hints" for me is not the problem.

The problem is deciding what sights to get.

Now I've found the Lyman 57sml.

It looks like a better sight to me.

Has anybody used both, and can maybe help me decide?

The TC sight looks smaller, but the Lyman sight looks like it's more adjustable.

I've never seen either one in person, and the catalog pics are pretty poor indeed.
