Amazing what folks who don't own any nice engraved Brownings, Winchesters etc. do when bored. Lol

This man is a great guy that can be trusted. I bought the other colt he had, it was exactly as described. No BS . Buy with confidence
Thanks again Marc, let me know if you’re selling any other antiques.

Chiappa I think had the contract to build these commemorativesites.
Only 125 made.
The musket is heavy and solid. Nice wood. Never fired

Partial trades accepted.

No junk-- T/C, Traditions, cva, blk powder pistols, cap and ball or similiar.

The 1861 commemorative musket IS for sale.

The other post was referring to another Colt musket that he had bought from me

BTW,

Having handled this Colt and comparing it to my Chiappa 1861, I can say that there's no way in God's Green Earth that Chiappa made this Colt. Night & Day.

Check your mail again.
I was talking about the commemorative not your used colt.

For your info, the commemorative is much heavier then normal musket. We sell many muskets here.

Second, chiappa probably made some if not all parts on your used colt. Read, investigate, don't assume.
Colt then takes the Italian parts as they call them, and use colt recipes for bluing and color case hardening.
But colt has always done this.
Welcome to Italian guns.....a real liberal approach wouldn't you say....
Have a good day

Good example
Colt gamemaster musket, 3rd generation signature series, 50 cal, 31.5 inch barrel, 1 in 28 twist for heavy conical. Be selling it soon. About 35 made they say but who knows....

ITALIAN parts, Colt recipe for color case hardening done by Colt ........
Nice work but basically, ITALIAN.

It is what it is.......
Night and day difference......
