"Clenzoil": feedback sought

Have any of you tried a product called "Clenzoil"? The black powder shop I go to really recommended it as a rust preventative and stock maintenance oil. Any input would be appreciated.

The BP shop I frequent recommends it also. Seemed like a pretty versatile product so I bought a bottle. I have not really had much opportunity to use it but I am sure that I will.

"DOUBLEGUN": which shop in Michigan told you about Clenzoil? The Kenockee Tradin' Post in Avoca, Michigan was the one that recommended it to me.

"MUSKETMAN": sounds like you've been using Clenzoil and seem to like it. Have you experienced any gumming in the barrel after some shots fired due to the fact that Clenzoil is made on petroleum base? Or is the whole issue "don't use petroleum products in muzzleloaders" (I keep reading or hearing this) really not true?

I have little problem with gumming in my muskets, never tried it on anything with riflings...

Kenockee Tradin' Post - the only pure BP shop of which I am aware in SE MI. What has your experience been with them?

Doublegun: My experience with the Kenockee Tradin' Post has been very positive. The husband and wife (Mr. and Mrs. Morgan)owners are very knowledgable. Also, Mr. Morgan makes some excellent accessories in his machine shop: I'm very happy with his jags, and especially his sights which are marketed as "Scotty's". These sights are simple, give a very clear sight picture and are a great value. I understand that Mrs. Morgan produces the period clothing available in the store. I'm considering having some made for me.
KTP is about 80miles from my house, but is worth the trip!
