I "usually" hunt ridges and of course roosts are at or near the top. Seems like a real hard thing to get a tom down hill but If I get just below ridge line they seem more willing to waddle in :idunno:

Course in the best days (I believe right about time the hens are moving off to nest) it seems like turkey only requires the ability to be still and just about any call :) The ol' Toms are desperate to continue the yearly ritual and really wanna hen bad. Guess if I mated once a year I would be alot easier to fool too :idunno: :rotf:
