And if you had discussed traditional conicals there would not have been any problem. But after several pointed reminders, you're still not getting it. And it is true that firing copper jacketed bullets through the usual muzzleloader barrel will erode it. But the simple fact is that that bullet is not appropriate to this forum. No one is trying to drive anyone away, but it is important to stay within the subject guidelines of this TRADITIONAL MUZZLELOADING FORUM. Claude pointed that out to you and you chose to ignore him and even say you will continue to post about this subject if you get lucky during hunting season. Good luck with that.

Its my choice to use what bullet i want during my states hunting season. I hunted some years with a .45 and used a powerbelt. Why? i have to follow state regs and a .440 round ball does not weigh 170 grains. Its not as if im going around here spamming a new bullet ive been playing with.

A traditional conical would basically be anything thats pure lead. Many on here fight that and take the whole fun out of the topics. Most of us know what the round ball can do. If someone feels that shooting a conical gives them an edge, well thats their right isnt it?

Well, no, a traditional conical would actually be a muzzleloading conical projectile that was in common use prior to 1865.

What takes the fun out of things is prople who persist in posting about improper topics on a traditional forum.

You are absolutely right. You can use any legal projectile you want during your state's hunting season. No one has even implied that you can't. You have simply been told by the forum owner (Claude) and a moderator (Zonie) that the modern bullet you were discussing and picturing was not acceptable subject matter on this forum. You seem to be having difficulty with this simple concept and there seems to be no way for anyone to explain it to you in a way that you can grasp. I just don't understand what your problem is, but it is yours and you deal with it.

I hate to argue with anyone but when the boss man himself says this has crossed the line, it has to either move to PTs or dropped altogether.

I agree, so I will close this topic for the greater good of the forum.
