Greetings All,

Well said Claude.

My favorite firearms and hunting writer was often critized writing and re-writing the same hunting stories over the years.

He would simply reply that outdoor writers and wannabe's should never forget there is always a new generation that has never heard the stories. If there was a firearms writer that was more succesful than Jack O'Connor during the 20th century, I never heard of him.

I seldom repost on a subject simply it is such a hassle to do my two finger typing. It is much easier to refer a new member to previous post.

And I still maintain the only way to ensure the muzzle is square to the bore before crowing or coning is to use a lathe. On this I will not budge or spend time arguing.

Best regards,

John L. Hinnant
