I recently saw the Conner Longrifles 28th Annual Antique Arms Show advertised. The show is held in Noblesville, IN. and the dates are Feb 19th & 20th, 2011.
I have not attended the show and was wondering how big the show is? Also, some shows have many old rifles on display, but not for sale. Wondering if there are many antique rifles for sale there?
Would like to hear from anyone who has had the experience of attending this show.
Thanks, 8905c

I have attended almost all of their shows. This is a very high quality primitive gun show. They have been high-grading for years, dealers that don't meet their approval don't get invited back.

There will be no Nazi, survivalist, black nylon items there. You will find brain tan, quill, handmade rifles and genuine antiques. You will find all eras up to Cowboy Action represented. All guns are pre-1890. It is very rare to see a single inline.

Some of the best dealers show up for this. I have seen Frank and Lally House displaying along with other name artisans. Glenn McClain and Randy Wolfe are normally there displaying their knives. This is one gun show that you won't want to miss. There will be about 240 6' tables to look at.

Many Klatch

It is deffinitely a quality show. I went last year for the first time. Major names show for it, like R.E. Davis.

I forgot to mention that all the ML's I saw there last year were for sale including some original work that was 100+ years old.

Thank you Gentlemen for the good plug. I am with the Conner Long Rifles and this will be my first event with them. We are getting (as mentioned) many good and reputable vendors. Mike Bird (Pres. of CLR) told me that this looks to be one of the best yet.

If anyone needs detailed instructions on how to get there or local hotels just PM me. There are many good places to eat also within a half mile of the site. Look forward to you all being there.

Cheers, DonK

The only contact number on the flyer is (317) 577-9364 for Mike Bird to purchase a space at the show.

Sirs, I'll be coming towards Indy from Illinois on I-70, how do I find the show? Are you off SR-37 north? I grew up in Nap-Town but have not lived there since 1974.

You'll want to get on I-465 going north off of I-70. Then, You'll want to get on I-69 North. There is an exit for I-37 around mile marker 10 on I-69 that you can take.

To continue,
69 N then look for 37North (Noblesville). You will go past the WalMart and at the TSC, turn left and the next light, turn left and there you are. (look for signs)

Thanks to Trench for the other info. :hatsoff:

See you there!!!

Cheers, DonK
