Well, I've been wondering if CVA made a small flint lock that dropped in to replace the percussion lock on their .32 Varmint. In cursory looks I haven't found one. L&R makes one that is larger, would require some chisel work and would not let me return the rifle to percussion.
This is my only percussion gun as all others I own are flint. I'm not opposed to keeping it percussion, but if a drop in CVA lock existed I'd be interested in having both ignition systems.
Anyone ever encountered such a lock. It would be pretty small. I'll follow up with a picture.

I checked their site. Locks with similar profile exist, but only in gun kits. I may have to give them a call. Maybe they have some parts laying around.
Then again, maybe I'm chasing a unicorn.
