I just bought one, double barrel 36cal. Never been fired, checked it out. If it was shot they cleaned it very good. It is kind of like a little Howdah. I bought it of this forum and the guy was honest. The only problem, the loading rod is missing. I could make one. But I would like to have the correct one. does anyone know where I get one.

I have the .44 version and have tried to find a .36 for over 30 years! Congrats on your find. I doubt you'll be able to find the proper rod. Mine is polished blued steel with a brass tip. It's definately made just for this pistol and there are no spare parts available anywhere. You may have to make one. I'd love to have a new stock for mine.

Until then, any pistol length rod will work for shooting it. They're a heckuva lot of fun to shoot, though one barrel on mine isn't well regulated.

Plink,
Hey thanks for the eye opener. I have one of them blued rods. Somewhere in my all the extra parts box. I don't think I will ever fire it. I have a lot of pistols unfired. Revolvers too. You think I could talk or trade you out of yours?
