thanks fellows! i pieced together all the strips for the spacers. they are a major pain to line up but they do dress up a knife.

Where did you find those pins you used on the handles? They are real nice!

You can buy the mosaic pins ready-made from K+G Supply here in Arizona, or from Jantz in Oklahoma. For excitement, you can try making them yourself from brass tubes and rods of assorted metals and lots of epoxy.
