Hey fellers, well the Missus just got done with two new bags. A hair on possible bag made from a piebbald hide that she got from a taxidermy friend with a braided hemp strap and a medicine bag made from buckskin and a rattlesnake skin insert. Each of them has a special Cherokee bead signifing the spirit of the animal:
"I have been very fortunate to find a Cherokee man who makes wonderful animal totem beads from clay, ochre stain and wood fire. Each is unique and takes it's color streaks from the fire. He inscribes each with Cherokee syllabary to represent different animals. These beads are meant to help tap into the animal's spirit, and each bead is smudged by him when finished. Beads are made by hand one at a time and all vary in size and color variations and are incised with symbol on two sides. This makes them unique to the bag it will be put on."
Hope y'all like them...Bud & Miss Tudy
