Hello. Fiddler here. I do a generic mid 1700's long hunter, attending a couple voos per year along with some solo trekking. Well.........I got roped into doing a presentation for a bunch of Cub Scouts next week. Now, public speaking is right up there with a root canal for one of my favorite things to do. Does anyone have a canned presentation or some hints on what to say?

Thanks.

Kirk

My family and I set up our rig once a year for the local Historical socitety Living History Day. We do alot of hands on types of stuff, like tomahawk throwing, archery demonstrations, flint and steel fire starting and the like. It seems to keep the attention of the kids as well as the adults and every one seems to have a good time. I always try to talk a little about the history of what I'm doing will I am doing the demonstrations as well. It's alot easier to talk to people when you have something in your hand to show them and it makes it a lot more interesting.

last weekend i showed scouts how to use flint and steel. great when they have hands on. they paid attention better than the parents. several could do it on the first try.
