seem to recall on some forum or other a source for cull horns for cheap but now can't find anything. i saw the sources listed in the brouhaha of a few days ago but what i'm lookin' for is just somethin' to piddle with to see if i have any inclination to try to build my own. too small, bent, twisted, small cavity, ugly or even cracked don't matter for now just need cheap.

thanks rob. i'll keep an eye on'em for when they have some in stock. anybody else have any ideas?

thanks for the links horner & chief. i'll check'em out. the "brouhaha" comment was in reference to the little dust-up of the other day when the guy was lookin' for "cheap" horns. looks like it's since been removed. thanks all & have a good'en, bubba.

hey Bubba, while doing the learning curve thing, take yer time on them nasty ol horns most stick their noses up at. I've made a few that turned out really nice. Wasn't maybe what I had first envisiond but take yer time n work 'WITH" THE HORN. iF YA UNDETRSTAND WHAT i MEAN, sometimes by changeing up a bit in midstream so to speak ya can turn out a really nice horn. Ya may not want to keep it but it will make somebody happy either as a gift or for sale on yer blanket. And keep an open mind, maybe the horn won't work for holding powder but maybe as a cup, a comb, an orniment of some sort(bangles n braclets for the ladies), maybe just to hold grease or even water to dip yer sharpening stones into, keep that open mind n go from there. NO horn is totally useless if ya think on it a bit
