I shot the new Walker initially with the factory nipple offerings and was impressed with how well they worked but have switched to Slix-shot upon recommendation and am anxious to compare them as soon as it warms up and I can feel my fingers while shooting.
I have found the vented nipples to work more consistently in rifle application and am curious to see if they do as well on the Walker.
I also have a set on the new Pietta 51 to give a try.

There is a company called SAVIOR that makes heated gloves that has the trigger finger that you can pull back.

These old bones cannot take it like they used to, and my shooting lessens when it goes below 30, down to 5 degrees this morning so I think I will work in the shop.

Good luck with the nipples.

I have T.C hot shot nipples on one of my Walkers. It had a habit of blowing the factory nipples out and in your face. I tapped and threaded the metric holes to 12/28 to fit the hot shot nipples. They've been in there for over 20 years with no issues. The vent hole on the side splits the cap nicely so no stuck caps.
