I got a cva bobcat that needs a rod going to have track make me one but I need to know the diameter of the original rod which I don't have so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it

Why don't you just measure the thimble diameter. Rods come in 5/16" & 3/8" so it's really hard to make a mistake unless you can't read a ruler. The factory rods are 25 1/2" long, IIRC, but you can order a custom length if you want.

Deer Creek has them in both wood and synthetic listed on their website. CVA makes a synthetic universal rod that you can cut to length. I found one at the local Scheels to keep as a spare.
