Here’s what my Traditions Kentucky, .50 caliber percussion can do at 75 yards in the rain with factory trigger. Some folks say they don’t like ‘em, but mine sure ain’t fer sale.

Does your lock have the bridle? Have a msg in to deer Creek about it but not hearing back.
 
not everyone can afford a custom , kibler or lyman so what to do to get into flint locks , you might find a good used one .
But here is how I made a traditions flinter better
it has a 1-66 barrel not bad .490 ball #40 drill cloth tallow lube 65grns swiss3f
take the trigger and pin it through the stock higher pivot point lower pull weight ( I did- it in my grandsons he likes red)
polish the lock ,lessen the frizzen spring or send it to cabin creek they fix them to work right
