not sure if i’m posting in the right spot if not i do apologize. but has anyone bought one of the new barrels from “ Mountain man musket co.” there on FB i spoke with them briefly about on in .50 he makes them for the cva mountain rifle they come complete with everything it’s complete drop in but he needs the stock sent to him for fitment. i’m curious about one in either .32 or .36 to have a drop in squirrel barrel. just wondering if anyone has went threw them and how they liked it there pricy IMO. he did add that he could do any twist rate you may want the do come in the white but have everything including a ramrod and there the 32” length as the original. thanks in advance

what kind of price they have for a 50 cal barrel
575.00 + tax and shipping My production run barrel is a 1:56 .016" deep round bottom rifling, but I can do them flat bottom in any twist from 1:24 to 1;72…( i copied that from the response he gave me when asking for a price ) he has a few pics on FB on his page of completed rifles with his barrels and a pic of a barrel

If he has to fit the stock to the barrel that really is not a drop in . I have a drop in from Green Mountain for a T/C Hawken that fits without altering barrel or stock I use it in all three of my stocks
Yes, they come with sights, and ramrod Complete. Because CVA used s few different underlug configurations I will need your stock to fit the underlugs…(i also copied this from the conversation i had with him about the fitting of barrel to stock, i do completely agree for it to be a drop in he shouldn’t need the stock and should be able to send complete barrel finish and it be able to be placed directly into the stock )

With shipping your stock and him charging shipping of it all to you I would consider just buying a complete gun but that is just me cause its more fun that way lol
