That's a walnut stock too guys. Not a bad price for an early model, heavy barrel, walnut stocked hawken.

If that 50 cal. Barrel is 1" across the flats that is a Rare Barrel. They only made those so the stock could interchange with the 12 gauge Hawken shotgun Barrel. I've only seen one other 1" 50cal. Barrel, and I own it with the 12ga Barrel. As for the stock , CVA didn't use walnut.Let's try again
I sold my 58 caliber CVA here a few months ago. I had from a 32 up to the 58. Kept my 54 cal.With that 1" barrel it's just waiting to be turned into a 58!

I stand corrected, I have never seen or heard of a walnut stock on a CVA.Note, select WALNUT. Not the typical select hardwood you see mentioned in later ads.
