I drive almost 4 hours to get to Friendship, and do the trip at least once a year, and sometimes twice. Its always worthwhile. And you will get to see a lot of different guns, talk to **** Greensides at Pecatonica personally about your project, and get advice from lots of people about the dos and don'ts. If you can hold off until September, I think a trip there is excellent, for both improving your knowledge, and to give yourself a needed break.

Another suggestion, take a Friday off, drive to Nashville, spend the night, Sat go to Tip Curtis Frontier Shop, shoulder about ever style & shape rifle avail. as he will have about 100+ guns built on hand, then come hom Sat night or Sunday morning.

You get a nice trip & get away for a few days, it is a easy drive from Ohio & all interstate & you will shoulder more variations of rifles there than at most places unless ya go to Friendship or Dixons.

And Tip has a building at Friendship also & usually has about 30-40 built rifles with him there also, plus allot of parts but he has allot more at his shop.

Good luck.
