I plan on making it Friday. I will be wearing a blue Harley t-shirt, with O'Tooles H-D on the back. Any member here, please feel free to introduce yourself.

iam gonna be there on sunday.. i will have a delaware regiment insignia painted on my 18th century knapsack...if you see me introduce yourselves would love to meet fellow members...

I will be there on Friday, hope to have my t-shirt with the muzzle loading forum logo on the back. With this forum members can tell who we are.

if all works out right I should be there Friday in my usual spot (at least for a spell) bottom of the steps leading up to the shop, helping Bobby Winters ie Knapper at his tables, look for a short stummpy little fart with long hair mustache n glasses, probably have on a white straw hat with a quill band on it, may tie a hunter orange marker tape around it just so ya see me hahaha. Would be nice if the weather cooled some but Dixon's has been super hot n usually wet at least one day every year since I can remember. But like they say poop floats n sugar takes awhile before it melts so we all should be fine hahahaha
:patriot:

Bring a boat and rain slicker. Looks like we're gonna need it. Somebody bring a big tarp!

If anyone has pictures please post. Missed it this year. Down in Maryland for the softball national championships.

Birdman was right were he said he would be, couldn't miss the orange ribon on his hat. Nice to meet and put a face to the name. I did not need the rain coat but some a/c would have been nice. It was a good show like every year.

just one day for me this year, like longbow said its nice to put names n faces together, seems to make the members on the forum into an even closer family so to speak. As always a great show, got to meet several other members as well ancient one comes to mind, the ol memory ain't what it used to so if I missed anybody my apologies. Been doing Dixon's for years, heck been helping Bob with his tables near 15 years I guess, this was the 30th anniversery of the show. Maybe because of the weather of late or the economy it did seem less people then usual today, but Sat and Sun could be mobbed. Anybody there on those days lets us know. Didn't sell anything but had a great time n thats really what counts. Oh yea for anybody interested this was Knappers last year so if ya need flints n such get em while there or get one of his cards to order some in the future, not really sure if he is still gonna knap any out after this year, hahaha he's enjoying retirement to much
 :haha:

Birdman, it was a pleasure to meet you. I so enjoyed our conversation. I hope to see you again at Jacobsberg in October. Don't know what happened to Gus13. I may go back again on Sunday.

I get to it once in a while maybe every other year or so. More than a decade now. It is pretty cool, but most especially if you are a, well, gunmaker -- it IS the GUNMAKER'S fair after all.

My favorite part has to be looking at the items entered into the show for awards. There are so many interesting, wonderful, and beautiful pieces by so many talented artisans.

It is always very hot and can't help but think this time was way too wet...

Was there from about 11:00 am Fri till 11:00 on Sat. As usual, hot and humid, but saw no rain. Friday was very busy; surprisingly several regular sellers were absent - ie. Tip Curtis and a couple of horners, several others, too. Not a lot of gun entries for judging by noontime on Saturday; lots of bags, horns and accouterments, though. All in all, a great event to attend!

I got there about 10:30 saturday, and stayed over till sunday, entered a gun so I had to stay to the end. Was bussy sat, rained sat night, seemed like a few of the sellers dident come back sun. croud was down sund. Started raining just as the awards got underway stoped as they ended. First gun I entered there so that an experiance.
