Thank goodness, we were so worried that the stagecoach was going to be robbed !Hochul's new gun control edict has made muzzleloaders firearms
I would not be surprised if a home built muzzleloader falls under New York's definition of Ghost GunMaybe 'they' should worry about all the 'ghost guns' first before 'they' worry about an un-concealable, five-foot long single shot musket, huh? The de-farbers will 'move' a serial number from the top of a barrel to a hidden spot under the stock specifically to comply with such laws.

What about a Kibler kit? I don't think they have serial numbers.IF you get a kit for a Remington 1858, defarb it by taking off the serial number, etc..., and then later get a cylinder to convert it, yes it would.

How does this relate to calibers over .50? I was sure the atf had something about over 50 being a destructive device or ??? fortunately muzzleloaders were exempt as they aren't "classified" as firearms.Hochul's new gun control edict has made muzzleloaders firearms

The key to what I was pointing out is the "conversion" to modern ammo. What about a Kibler kit? I don't think they have serial numbers.
Wow, I have to admit that even California isn't as stupid as NJ, at least not yet!I double checked by calling two shops down there.
Nope, Va is not as stupid as NJ (not that it is a surprise)
