Does anyone bring 2 revolvers to the range and load and shoot both?

It occurred to me that I never did it .

Sure I've brought numerous "unmentionables " out but never a pair of percussion revolvers.

Maybe someone will get really bored and make a Blackbeard type rig with 10 cap and ballers , and load them all up. Would be an amazing video :)

I typically take my NMA and my ROA, along with my Deerstalker and make a long day of it as I don’t get to the range much (used to go once a month when it was around the corner. Now it’s over an hour a way and through Austin traffic, which I despise).

I've taken several along with extra cylinders to the range. I often load but don't cap all at home and then cap and fire at the range. A friend of mine will bring 5 or 6 different cap and ball guns at one time and shoot all plus about 6 other cylinders full. It make for a lot of shooting without reloading. Also, I often give unmentionable shooters a chance to shoot and they often become hooked. I gave a younger guy a chance to shoot my remington repro a couple of weeks ago and he was grinning from ear to ear. I think he was also surprised at the power and shot the metal targets at the range at 20 meters. They make an nice ring with hits.

one gun? What do you do with the other hand? Pick your nose? Both my hands are filled with Colt pattern percussion guns. More fun, more smoke, Gunfighter is the way to go.

when you have a system cleaning is simple.
I have a system,
Pull the barrel and cylinder off.
Drop the cylinder in a jar of moose milk to soak.
Use a mop wet with moose milk to swab out the barrel.
use the swab to clean out the chambers.
I don't remove the nipples but once every 100 rounds. Just give a half turn then tighten every time.
let everything drain while you wipe down the frame and hammer with moose milk.
Check barrel and chambers with a clean patch, then the do the same with a Ballistol patch.
Re-assemble go to the house and have a cold adult beverage.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

2, sometimes 3........I load "off gun" using a 1/2 ton arbor press until all cylinders are full.....then cap & fire all.
rinse & repeat.
Usually a ROA 7.5 stainless.....a Uberti 4.5 CCH '58 Remmy copy....and a 7.5 1860 Colt copy by Pietta.
all 3 get 30gr 3f , a lubed felt wad cut from thrift store hats, and a .457 RB

I'm going to add another holster to my rig to have 2 Dragoons , one on the left hip butt forward and one on the right butt to the rear.

Have to bring two, inly way to maintain balance and walk straight.
