It just aint fair for folks like you to get all the ability to make a beautiful gun and I dont get any. Seriously a very nice looking gun. :shocked2:

Hey Mike. Another beauty. :hatsoff: Did you do the black paint coat on this one too??

Very VERY nice Mike.
:)
Might I suggest you also post the pics on the "gunbuilders bench". This gun will be an inpiration to a lot of new builders.

For for the benifit of you new builders out there---- LOOK at this gun.
THIS is how one should look!

:hatsoff: to you Mike

An elegant piece! Always wanted to use that word describing a gun. It certainly fits here.
Regards,
Pletch

whats really cool is that how well the gun looks with no engraving, this gives me hope that I can get this chambers virginia gun done and not ruin it by trying to engrave it and stll have a decent looking gun.

Beautiful! Outstanding inletting! :applause:

My favorite part:

Understated elegance! :applause: Bravo!

By the way, what style sideplate is that?

Thanks guys. Yep, it has had a coat of paint among other things, in the finishing process. The side plate is a copy of the plate on the "Faber" gun.

...yeah it's nice, but I bet it doesn't spark much with that THICK leather... :rotf: ...

I took particular notice of that aspect, just goes to show that style need not be elaborate.
That is fine Mike, just plain Fine! :hatsoff:

Mike:
How did you finish the lock and barrel? Is a blueing or aged? And what process did you use?
