I have a question about a double-barreled gun.
The trader George Morgan from Bayton,Wharton and Morgan bought a double-barreled gun for 600 shillings. The best rifle they sell to any of his company hunters was 150 shillings. That is just 25% of the cost of Morgan's double-barreled fowler.
I have seen pics from french double-barreled fowlers but not an american one.I have the book about the American Fowling Pieces, but there is no double-barreled fowler.
Have anyone of you a double-barreled fowler or pics from one?
And what about the price?600 shillings?
Must be a special gun.
