I really like the looks of the double key Hawken rifles. I have been trying to research and price online but single and double key rifles are mixed together. I was wondering if they go by a different name or other way to sort them.

Factory bulit double key "Hawken Type" mountain or plains rifles that come to mind are the CVA Mountain or Lyman Great Plains (former or current model) rifles. Investmentarms has a website listing a rifle that appears identical to the gun they built for Lyman, (the old Great Plains rifle). There may be others out there but my guess is these are the most common. The less common Pedersoli Tryon is double keyed as well.

As noted in another thread, the name Hawken is applied to many rifles made by manufactures that have little if any resemblance to the original rifles made by the brothers. Good luck with your search.

A Display rack of original Hawken Rifles from the HawkenClassic.
There were others displayed as well.
Only the bottom (32cal) was a single key.
