Has anyone built one of his?
His stocks look great and reasonably priced.
Thinking on a Jaeger build.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Doc

Hey Doc,
All my Dunlop stocks have been Military. Have bought many fore stocks to fix cut down muskets, but have only built one Mdl 1842 as a full stock. My stocks were good quality and dry, easy to shape but not soft. For the most part, easy to match the color of the original stock, except for the rare purple stocks. I have adgod luck with Dunlops.

In the past I have built probably 8 of their part sets, all of them being the Isaac Haines model. All were good parts sets & they are my particular favorite for a deer hunting rifle. In Dunlaps I.Haines parts set, they use the small Bivens buttplate & T/Guard & this insures you have less wood on the rifle than on ones others sell = lighter rifle. So their I.Haines rifle usually weighs 6-8 oz less than the others I have built. And of course the wood bought from Dunlaps has always been good, it has always been as good or better than I expected.

I have not built their G.Jaeger rifle. Have looked at them several times, but at the time was not in the market for that particular rifle.
