I've been involved in black powder for 30 years stopped rendezvouing 20 years ago and recently started up again with my son. I still hunt with my old 58 cal flinter out of a pouch and horn. one year without a deer in 12 years ain't bad most people in my area think I'm crazy for my way of hunting i love it going into deer camp the 23rd winter tipi living can't wait. Glad I found this site
